Dual Time: Private Tutoring

In addition to creating and hosting the Spanish podcasts, Karen also offers private Spanish instruction. Ms. North’s teaching credentials are over two decades strong. She got her start with University of Georgia seniors, whose sole remaining graduation requirement was mandatory language courses.

Karen has taught Spanish at Morehouse College, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), University of Georgia, Ithaca College and Kennesaw State University and co-directed several college study-abroad programs. In additional to her formal classroom education background, she has extensive experience in one-on-one and small group instruction, as well as translation and interpreting services with a range of clients.
