Dual Time: Private Tutoring

In addition to creating and hosting the Spanish podcasts, Karen also offers private Spanish instruction. Ms. North’s teaching credentials are over two decades strong. She got her start back in 1982 with University of Georgia seniors, whose sole remaining graduation requirement was mandatory language courses.

Karen has taught Spanish at the University of Georgia, Ithaca College, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and most recently Morehouse College. In additional to her formal classroom education background, she has extensive experience in one-on-one and small group instruction, as well as translation and interpreting services, with a range of clients.
